Welcome to UO Dark Ages
Everything you need to install the game and enter Britannia for the first time.

Overview

To play UO Dark Ages you must:

  1. Install Ultima Online
  2. Install ClassicUO
  3. Configure a Dark Ages profile
  4. Launch the game and create your account

The server uses the standard Ultima Online Classic Client together with ClassicUO. After both are installed you will connect directly to the Dark Ages server and your account will automatically be created the first time you log in.



Step 1 — Download Ultima Online

Go to the official Ultima Online client download page and download the Classic Client installer. After installing, launch the client and allow it to fully patch. Close the game and reopen it two or three times to make sure every patch has downloaded correctly.

  • Launch and fully patch the game
  • Reopen the client several times after patching to ensure you have all the updates.


Step 2 — Download ClassicUO

After Ultima Online is fully installed and patched, download and install ClassicUO. Use the version that matches your computer.



Step 3 — Setup ClassicUO For UO Dark Ages

When ClassicUO opens, browse to your Ultima Online installation folder and create a new profile using the following settings:

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Game will not launch Verify that Ultima Online has been fully patched before installing ClassicUO.
Cannot connect to server Make sure the server address is set to 187.124.243.94 and the port is 2593.
Missing graphics or strange errors Reopen the official client several times to finish patching before launching ClassicUO.
Game window appears in a strange location Simply drag and resize the window after the game starts.



You are now ready to enter Britannia.
