Choosing Your Gender

In UO Dark Ages, gender affects only your character's appearance. Male and female characters have the same stats, skills, and gameplay options.

Male Characters

Male characters use the standard male paperdoll and may wear all armor, clothing, and equipment.

Female Characters

Female characters use the female paperdoll and may wear all armor, clothing, and equipment.

Appearance Differences

  • Different body shape and paperdoll
  • Some clothing and armor may appear slightly different
  • No effect on combat, crafting, skills, or character progression
